Reforms to NHS Dentistry Debate

Not long ago I took part in a debate in the House of Commons regarding the current issue of the cost and access to NHS dentistry services within my constituency after 13 years of a Tory Government failing to reform the out of date dentistry contract that has been in effect since 2006.

Transcript:

“Actions speak louder than words. Have there been sufficient actions to resolve the problem that the Minister recognises? I am not convinced there have been.”

“In my view, and that of many others, things have not stayed the same and they have not improved substantially, so it does not take Hercule Poirot to work out that things have deteriorated.”
