Bootle Children's Literacy Festival

I was very pleased to be invited to Bootle Children’s Literacy Festival medieval event at Bootle Strand Shopping Centre, by Kingsley & Co. There were lots of fun activities for children whilst encouraging them to take up reading.

Kingsley & Co were set up by children’s charity YKids to improve the literacy rates of children in the area. They provide mentoring programmes, school and street projects, sports & arts initiatives, large community events, parent groups and support, a community pantry and weekly clubs ranging from theatre and the arts, to life skills and sport.
