Age Concern Afternoon Tea

I was lucky to be invited to an afternoon tea hosted by Age Concern on Friday 27 January. It was great to see the fantastic work going on and to meet local residents.

On 1st March I have teamed up with Citizens Advice to offer a Pension Credit event for those of pension age in Bootle.

As the cost-of-living crisis continues to hit our communities, a worrying £1.7 billion Pension Credit went unclaimed across Britain in 2019/2020 alone.

Pension credit give you extra money to help with living costs if you are over State Pension Age or on low income. It is separate from your State Pension and you might get extra help if you’re a carer, disabled or responsible for a child.

You can get Pension Credit event if you have other income, savings, or own your own home.

If you would like to book an appointment with an expert to find out more, please contact my team on 0151 933 8432 or email joanne.faulkner@parliament.uk.

If you are unable to attend on 1 March, you can also contact Sefton Citizens Advice on 0808 278 7841.
