New Affordable and Accessible Homes in Bootle

One Vision Housing and Sovini Construction has successfully completed construction on 16 new affordable homes in Bootle, thanks to £365k in funding from Homes England, on previously derelict land.

I very much welcome this new Chapel Terrace development consisting of 4 houses, 6 apartments for and 6 bungalows, designed based on the accessibility of residents aged 55 and over.

These properties will include low level access to properties and wet rooms to ground floor apartments and bungalows, alongside open plan living and a communal playground perfect for young families.

Importantly, Sovini and One Vision Housing ensured the project was carried out under the commitment to reduce their carbon footprint. Recycled materials were used were possible, including timber frames to construct woodwork and each property also benefits from A+ efficiency boilers alongside being fully insulated.

Finally, I am delighted that the construction of this project has created opportunities for employee development for Sovini Construction’s Apprentice Joiners, contributing to their qualification assessments.
